how many other ppl here mix both techno and trance?
mix been mixing trance for ages now and started mix techno about 1 week ago. i find it so more challanging than mixing trance, u have to know the records inside out and eq yourself to death!!!!!!! i rekon u have to be so more planned out and can't let your gaurd down for more than about 1 bar!!! :twisted:
i would disagree matey... i think techno is a little easier too mix... although i dunno if its cause i enjoy playin techno that little bit more.???

I think good mixing is dificult in all styles... I would probably find mixing transe a lot easyer 'cause people only really expect u 2 cross smoothly between trackz... with techno I tend 2 think as one big long LIVE Remix... where u r the producer and the records/ decks/ mixers r your tools!!
but still I mantain my first statement..
