Released on the labels such as Zenit, Genetic, Abiotic Recordings, Houston based producer HENRY CHOW unleashes the monsterous FORM OF FUNK EP on his new MASTERPLAN label. This 3 tracker EP brings the funk with its groovy basslines, clever arrangements with filtering edits, buzzing pads and twisted stabs.
For the past year, the A side titled "Form of Funk," has already been tested and approved on dance floors across the globe causing total devestation when the basslines drops. Laced with tight percussions and fills, this can be easily mixed in the peak of any set.
On the flip side, "Piece of Me" switches the mood for a deeper tech house flavor while still holding the groove with the basslines and stabs Chow has become accustomed to.
Finally, "Darker Daze" closes up the EP with its infectious shifty high hat patterns, guitar licks, and punching stabs hoovering throughout the track.
Like his previous releases, this one is already gaining support from the usual suspects such as Marco Carola, Umek, Christian Smith, Rino Cerrone, just to name a few. Expect this one to be in heavy rotation!
