It`s a bit of an open question isn`t it?
The new sound of techno?
There isn`t one really is there?
There`s a few artists doing genuinely different things, but I think it`ll be a fair while yet before a new movement takes off within techno. We are kinda stuck at the very end of various trends in techno and it seems like everyone is treading water.
Although it feels to me that there is a certain saturation of of sameness that is building a kind of tension that might pop and cause an explosion of innovation.
