My Sony CD Unit wont play any CD's, it just says 'No Disc' whenever I put any CD in, been told that its probably the laser and it will cost more to fix than to buy another one...
But I'm up for hearing if anyone says different as it is a nice CD player and I can't afford to buy another really... :(
I would say.. put in in the hands of a friend or some1 who knows about PCs (I'm assuming u mean a PC CD burner)... sometimes i can b a windows thang (hopefully is that simple)!!

corbzy, i had the same problem mate, i had a sony cd player and it was the laser that was the problem, I didn`t bother getting mine fixed and just got a new wharfedale system which is da muts nuts. :)
