the 303 sound has been used a lot for 10 years now
and it's very difficult to get anything new sounding out of it

i still play a little acid but not as much as i used to that's true.
chris lib plays more than me so does aaron.
and many other london djs.
but essentially the sound has moved on from there.
we still produce and release acid records in fact chris has just started a new acid label "wah wah" which will be straight up acid for all you guys who still love that sound.
but personally i find the 303 sound very limiting and once you play that sound you become an "acid " dj which is also limiting when you need work to keep yourself alive.
i still love the london acid techno scene and it's music and it's djs but i just can't play a whole set of acid anymore as i don't think the quality justifies it any more.
i hope you understand, also i really think the quality of london techno is still very high just not so much the acid stuff.
