Is it the Principle?......

Last few norths (I have'nt been too though) i've seen the stimulant Dj's on the line up?.... What is goin on?.. I mean does this not go against all North's policy of underground music. Were these guys releaseing hardhouse etc a while back..

Can anyone give me a good reason why they should be there, regardless of the fact that they play good tunes, i mean come on if Judge Jules, or any other blood sucking git was pumpin out good tunes, does that mean andy bowler could go and book them?

I just dont see the logic in it, and i feel that it is giving out the wrong impression completely?....

I mean who are these guys, surely they could find someone better more underground, harder, darker, whatever to put on than these losers..

They are brisk, i know and i ham i think. Brisk is underground, and is superb when he plays proper hardcore (techno, not the happy shit). Not to sure about but brisk is one of the finest mixers there is.

I do believe tho that associating the stimulant dj name to North is a bad thing as they are classed as hard house.

I would rather see brisk use the name brisk when playing at north and play hardcore.

Brisk & Ham are playing hard trance for the first time at North this Friday in the main room. Then Brisk is going back to back with Scott Brown in the hardcore room to play the hardest set of their lives! If your a promoter and your putting on an event, and a DJ can play 2 styles why not put them in both rooms?

as in the subject title si mate, its the principle of the matter, They are formally known as hard house Dj's... If Judge Jules cuold play 2 styles or anyone along the same commercial lines would you have him play?

If you think about it, norths polcy is underground music, Brisk & Ham all i really remember the for, isa couple of happy hardcore tracks that they produced a few years back, when that scene started to slowly dwindle they moved onto the next big thing at the time (moneywise) HH, and produced under the name Stimulant Dj's?.....

Seems a little strange to me?

Yea I see ya point, but they are making an effort to "be underground" this time round by playing hard trance & hardcore techno. Surely thats keeping in touch with Norths music policy isnt it? The Stimulant DJ's have played there before and did play hard house pitched right up, and yes they were shit, but I am going to hear them play again this time and judge them then.

Anyway...If Lisa Pin-Up and Lisa Lashes went back to back playing doomcore nosebleed speedcore gabber in the hardcore room at North (keeping in with the music policy) wouldnt you watch?! :wink: mmm! :lol:

Well see how it goes, but they have jumped the boat on the HH scene a little, maybe they should try and drop the Stimulant DJ'tag.. I feel peeps in this scene will frown upon it?

And yes Si, would'nt that make a nice site to see the lisa's, playing speedcore, but i would prefer some bouncy Hard trance, for the obcious reasons "mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm" :wink:

The 2 Lisa's dancing to some bouncy hard trance = mmm! but hardcore techno = WOW! BOING! :P ha ha!
