120% profit just can't be turned down

We've had to sell our 14 goal hit man Akinbiyi to Sheffield Utd, now this is a blow really cause we have no strikers again now but i think it was impossible for our board to turn down the 1.75M offer. We bought him for £600.000 11 months ago in which time he's scored over 20 goals. At the time £600000 was a lot for a 30yo so to get 1.75 million for him is quite staggering really.

So my hearts broken cause he was a real crowd fave but my heads happy & we have a million £'s to spend on a young striking talent.....if we can find one.
