March 16th is the occasion of Electric City's 3rd Birthday and to help
us celebrate we have got two of the finest Producers/DJs in the world
today. There will be a very special set-up on the night with a
world-first exclusive as the two of them blaze it up - together! This
will be Sims' 3rd time to play Electric City while the Surgeon last
played back in August of 2005. Ben Sims is one of the UK's biggest
techno exports and is much in demand both as a DJ and producer, while
Surgeon is one of the most dynamic DJs and producers around whilst still
finding time to run his peerless Counterbalance and Downwards record
labels.
To see these two performing together in such an intimate environment
does not come around very often so make sure to pick up one of the very
limited tickets from Selectah Records or online at www.tickets.ie. There
will be an extensive array of laptops, turntables, CDJ's and gear all
combined to showcase this awesome performance. Doors will be opening
early at 10.30pm with free pint bottles of Tiger available for the first
50 birthday party guests. Electric City resident Simon Conway will be
wearing the birthday badge for the home team.
We hope you can come down to help us celebrate what has been a great
three years. We'd like to thank all of you who have come down to
Electric City over the past 156 weeks. It's been a blast- we've had many
of Irelands and the worlds best DJs and producers make appearances at
the club. If it wasn't for the great crowd, none of these guests would
have enjoyed themselves half as much and look for return visits, so
cheers for showing support. This night will be a killer party with two
of our most popular guests returning for a much anticipated match-up.
