Wow! I would have guessed lemon 8 was gone away to the great 909 in the sky, or got a real job. I can't wait to hear this. Model 8 is one of my favorite tracks of all time.

that it is. It's a very good track but I imagine by the end of summer it will be too played out yet another time. I wish this whole acid/retro/minimal craze would revive the spirit/sound from Model 8 and other similar tracks in it's time.

mnml they all started playing it for some reason (probably just 'cos hawtin plays it which is even sadder :roll: )

those hmc trax deserve a re-issue though.

Well...here in the states we don't get much techno and I don't listen to many sets anymore so it doesn't seem too overplayed to me. I can think of a lot worse tracks that are currently overplayed. I totally agree on the HMC tip though. Luckily I still have some of the originals.
