Thanks to everyone who made last weeks 3rd birthday party one to remember
for a long time to come. This week we have three new kids on the EC block
which a combined age of less than the EC residents. First up is Discotonic's
JayCee, who will be keeping it groovy for the opening set as he tickles us
with some Disco and House feathers. JayCee is to be found regularly behind
the decks at Discotonic where he most recently warmed up for the legendary
Greg Wilson - a man old enough to be this young bucks father, possibly. Not
only does JayCee rock the decks but he is also a very fine graphic designer
and is the man behind the design of the killer Lunar Disko flyers. He will
be followed by Andy Doyle from the Lunar Disko crew who is sure to take it
up a notch with some killer italo and electro. As part of Lunar Disko, Andy
has brought over some of the leading names in electro such as Bangkok
Impact, DJ TLR (Creme), Chicago Shags & Orgue Electronique - we're quite
sure that a smattering of these guys records will be played by Mister Doyle.
Test's Daniel McElligot will round things off with a set of sharp, crisp
minimal techno. This will be Dan's first time to finish up at Electric City
and after his wicked set last time in January, it's not a moment too soon.
These young whippersnappers will be making the Horlicks for the EC old
codger residents and getting our hot water bottles ready for a good night's
rest. G-g-g-g get down to check out three DJs who will be around for a long
time.
