We are happy to have Richie Parker come to rock the Electric City this Thursday. Richie Parker is one of Ireland's hottest new prospects moving up the ranks in today's army of Irish Dj's, but not only does Richie know how to get the crowd on the dance floor through DJ'ing house and techno music, he also produces and released his debut record "International ep" in January 2006 on his own record label, KK Dance Records. This energetic EP was picked up on by no less than Submerge in Detroit who pushed the record across the globe. DJ Bone was playing it out frequently and respect to Richie for having his first track picked up on so quickly. The first of many we are sure.
Rotating with Richie on the night we have one of our favourite DJ's Rian Ryan. Easily one of the most versatile DJ's that we have playing the club, a set from Rian can go from the minimal sounds of Robert Hood to some ravetastic action from the Prodigy in the blink of a wrist. Not one to stand around and let records play Rian is constantly in the mix chopping, fading, and cutting his way through tracks at an alarming rate while onlookers scratch their heads in disbelief. Rian keeps his sets fresh by releasing at weekly half hour mix on megaupload for those in the know so do check it out.
