Hi All,
Im looking for a document/website or reference guide on Wave forms, specifically detailing what frequency represents a note.
For example 261.63Hz is a middle C and I think multiples of 44Hz (ie 44, 88, 132, 166 and so on) are F in different octaves (anyone jump in here I may be wrong!) But thats the only info I have, Im looking for a complete chart or list - or indeed any further info on this subject!!!

A is 440Hz... you should be able to work out the rest from there.

Wrote a graphing calc program for this ages ago.
Take your frequency and then find out how long each cycle lasts (preferably in the C2-3 region) and multiply that time figure out until you reach between 200-400ms worth, this is your quater bar figure, then put that into this equation
60000/figure = tempo.
this will give you a tempo for an exact number of sinwave cycles in a quater bar...
At the given frequency...
137.655 = D
