The interest for music came when the twin brothers where 17 and where living in Araras, Middletown in the state of São Paulo located 164km from São Paulo city. After pursueing this interest they had their first mixing experiences after with DJ Kiko, nowadays a good friend, who is a resident DJ of an Ararense club for over 15 years.

After some time in contact with the electronic music they decide to set their first goal: spreading underground electronic music in the middletowns of São Paulo, but especificly in Araras. The first actions of the twin brothers was organising two parties, one of them a private rave. In the year 2000 their persistance brought results for both of them and they started to make name.

At that time the twin brothers were being booked to spin at the biggest parties in their city and various other events. Among these events was being in the final of The Brazilian Championship of DJ's that took place during the Rave Space Jungle Hypnotic. They finished among the 30 DJ's over a total of 600 contestants. By the end of 2001, the twin brothers have adopted the name of a duo: INVOKE duo and have been performing under this name ever since.
