i suggest you try and give feedback to others first. not being harsh but this is the general procedure on forums, imo
thanks for that
mmm...?
its a bit to washed out, need to tidy up in order to define better.
thanks, i noticed that the bass seems a bit over driven...am working on it, and i appreciate the feedback!
hey dude hows things? r u monitoring off hi fi speakers? work on your eq for example run a hi pass eq/filter at around 150hz on everything except your bass and kick. that should clear things up a bit. remember to hi pass your kick and bass as well somewhere around the 40 to 80 hz range but it all depends on what type of kick/ bass relationship u want. eq'ing your mix is pretty hard if u don't have good monitors though. :)
I have alesis mk2 powered monitors...i find them to sound great in them and then later i find other places the bass lacks....so then it throws me off...any advice on post mastering other than high pass i believe is pre production.
I reworked the eqing and such a bit if anyone cares to give it a row.
cheers!
Same link?
yes same link, sorry.
Hey, welcome to BA.
This has promise. You have a decent tune in there but the production is lacking a bit at the mo. Needs tidying up, gets really muddy and indistinct across all freq ranges.
Plus you need to run some maximisers on it. Izotope ozone, waves L1, L2 etc.
Sounds a little flat, would need to be much louder to sit with other productions.
Bass a bit muddy, need to make your kick cut through more
Sounds like there are some cool rhythmic elements in there but they are a bit buried under each other.
Keep at it mate, thought the track had energy and drive and some good percussion. Good ideas, just need to get everything to sit together better.
