tbh, these guys crossed the bridge between old school house and techno for me, perhaps with the exeption of dan curtin (who was more detroit influenced)... very special ppl :)Quote:

Ditto.. In particular Paul Johnson, older velvet stuff, Sneak and some of the strictly rhythm releases (probably about 7%)

loved all that crew before the disco vibe took hold.. Runaway Train by Sneak still floors me.
Old Chicago Acid rules too. Adonis is one of my top 10 of the old school.
i'm a big fan of the old jackin' house records. farley, adonis, marshall jefferson, etc
