I've just finished my first real techno track (all the rest ended up sounding like trance :oops: )

i thought someone finally took a shot at oakey...
the kick drum makes it sound trance..... your problem (i can see this cause we used to do the same), is that you're seeing it all as a formula. create your own!!!
and seriously, get into kick and sub bass. the rest will follow :=]
