Does anyone know of any good freeware convertors to get my tracks that i bought on i tunes into mp3
i need to put them on an mp3 player thats not an ipod
i found a way to do it earlier but it takes ages and requires 2 programmes, i just want to use 1 standalone proggie
also while i;m here does anyone know how to get tracks back off an ipod?
deleted some tracks and live sets off my harddrive that i wouldnt mind sampling parts of

Uses something called hymn - 'hear your music anywhere' - nice :)
Disclaimer - Haven't tried it myself, but people seem to be using hymn with success.

Re. getting files off an IPod, I have done this myself by plugging the IPod into a PC that does NOT have iTunes or the Ipod software, then the IPod will show up as an ordinary USB disk. You can then navigate the folders on the IPod as if it were an ordinary disk. A bit painstaking, and I'm sure there's a better way but that worked for me.
