there is loads of drum samples on this page mate, lots of different drum machines sampled, including the trusty 808 & 909 machines.

yeah someone posted loads (and i mean loads!) of links to samples a few months ago, it might have been in the trance filez section, not sure though mate.

We are lucky enough to own a 909 so that sorts out SOME of the percussion.
Just a few tips to get you creating truly original sounds and teach you something at the same time.
1. Learn how to create your own BD sounds. Reason's Maelstrum is good for this. As is drum synth (freeware)
2. Get a mic and go around the home sampling slaps, bangs and pots and pans. Transpose em down and bobs your uncle - your sounds, original and proud.
3. Read all you can about drum synthesis....it ll teach you loads.
