Ho ho ho and a sackfull of 303's squelch their way into town for what will be a monster way to wind up a cracking year of Electric Shock parties. Yes, the Acid Grandmasters, Hardfloor will be playing their first live show in Dublin since we don't remember how long ago. Ramon & Oliver will be firing up the 303s for what will be a rocking Acperience to tear down the walls of the Temple Bar Music Centre. No nu-acid Chicago impersonations here - these boys have been doing it since 'back in the day' and they're still doing it. Get ready for a full-on live set from the Hardfloor - not a DJ set from half of them or some shortchange like that, this is the real deal. Check out video's from their live sets at www.hardfloor.de.
Not only that, but our favourite Florentine, Alexander Robotnick returns to the city that his embraced him since his first appearance for us almost 4 years ago. From the handful that witnessed that debut to the rocking TBMC crowd that saw him with Ellen Allien this year, Dublin has become Alexander's destination of choice. We feel we've grown with Alexander too and he is one of the finest gents we have had the pleasure to meet. His enthusiasm behind the decks is infectious and he is going to get this Xmas party moving and feeling good for sure. Making his Electric Shock debut will be EC resident, Dan Power.
Dan is a regular down at the weekly club and can be heard warming up perfectly for Deetron on November 30.
We hope to see many of you there for our Electric Shock Xmas party and we hope you've enjoyed the nights we've put on through the year with the likes of Dr. Lektroluv, Johannes Heil, DJ Rush, Green Velvet, Steve Bug, Ellen Allien. 2007 will see some very special guests on the way for Electric Shock - stay tuned!
