Slammin Vinyl NYE - review.

Did not even have to show ticket! wish I didn't buy the thing now. would have been £50 better off!

Mark Eg turned up half an hour late ;-) mad head. he was going mental throwing his fists in the air and banging his head near the speaker. got the crowd hyped.

MC SQUIDGY B didn't turn up so i was gutted. having no mc was silly. there were no intros to any djs an the room emptied too often.

producer played some good stuff but kept breaking into drum and bass. (probably because the room was full of lightweights)

there was a bloke in a white boiler suit with loftgroover written on the back (looked pretty cool)

loads of black lads in their 30s walking around looking at everyones watches and stuff. total wankers. they were there to cause trouble and nothing more. it was as though they were looking at us in disgust raving to producer's fast beats.

the nye countdown was non existent. someone called out '90 seconds till 2007' but that was all we heard. silence and an empty room. where was squidgy b when you needed him?

wandered into the drum and bass room for a while because my brothers gf loves it. must admit the light system was awesome and the sound system was very crisp, but the atmosphere was awful.

too many people on the noya all on edge ready to cause problems. top this off with wankers walking around (mentioned previously) and the night was a disappointment.

too many chavs and wankers at raves. this might be my last event because im sick of seeing arseholes who are more into their drugs than the music.

was so disappointed with not having any industrial music in the hardcore techno room. only hard party gabber really.
