Riots broke out between Catania v Palmero. Thugs were at it before and during game. A policeman was killed when an explosive was put into his motor. All games in Italy are cancelled this wkend due to this and rightly so! l The international between Italy and Bulgaria during the week will not go ahead either....

yeah it was a disgrace. Actions are being taken though. No football for two weeks with the possibility of the rest of games being played behind closed doors.
Im not trying to make excuses but maybe this is a time for the whole world to look at how football and violence interact. Its not just Italy where this shit happens.

Football hooligans will never be stopped that's for sure, all that can be done is containing it and try and reduce clashes to a minimum.
