Pickled Sundays Free Outdoor Party On 15/7 At Barca Cancelled Due To Licecing

Due to licencing, the free outdoor party on July 15th at Barca has been cancelled. The management at Barca thought that they were covered to have an outdoor event, but after the council were contacted they confirmed otherwise. The plan was to have the Dj's on the balcony playing down into the courtyard area, with speakers upstairs and downstairs. We were offered to continue with the party upstairs in the bar but we decided not to as for us, it totally defeated the object of an outdoor party.
We hope to still continue with a future outdoor free party at Barca that we can do everything that we originally intended to in the first place, in order to do this Barca will have to obtain an outdoor licence which we will hopefully have intime for a planned event on Sun 19th August. We apologise to everyone who was planning to attend on the 15th but the matter is out of our hands.
