This week we have a very special residents night. Normally these nights are like Father Christmas [fill in joke here] but we decided to tie one in with our fifth birthday celebrations. For the running order we usually get a couple of legends to make the draw but unfortunately this time around Fabio Paris and Phil Perry were unable to make it to Neilstown Square to snort those lucky balls. Instead, the running order will be decided in a Jeff Stelling anorak fashion whereby the person who has played the club first will be finishing up and so on. A mark of respect to the old-timers.

So without further a do, kicking off proceedings will be Dan 'Foetus' McElligott who wasn't even born when we started the club but who made his EC debut when we called Traffic our home in January 2006.

Next up will be his ex-Test partner in crime Jay Galligan who first played alongside his other ex-partner in crime Oisin Murphy a year further back in February 2005. Crime and ex-partners couldn't be further from the next ressie Eddie Brennan. The electric one has probably [we are too lazy to check] played the club the most since the crowd started screaming his name for the first time back in the November 2004.

For the next 45 minutes step forward [it's in front of you] Rian Ryan. The Master of Halo has come a long way since he made his debut in the Metropolitan in July 2003 and will go an even longer way home to Maynooth after his set. And finally Dan Power will be bringing things to a close. Ding-Dong-Dan first played the club a mere 3 months after we started in June 2003 and praise the lord he is still around 5 years later..

Hang on...but there is eight residents we hear you ask? Well Papa G will be playing next week with Granpapa H, Barry Donovan will be rocking the shock at the end of the month and Simon Conway will be DJ'ing on the pitch as Slask Wroclaw FC continue their Polish league second division adventures this Saturday afternoon. This event is set to sell out of all the even-numbered, green coloured pre-sale tickets - only 3 of the 5 limited edition ones we printed are still available. The Clondalkin Echo have a featured article on this event in the current issue - page 19, beside the update from the Neilstown Rangers fundraising evening in the 78 and just above the new members of the Clondlakin Credit Union Board.
