Soundcard......

I got a new Macbook Pro... I also got a copy of Abelton Suite 7.

Now I need a soundcard. I have been looking at the MOTU 828 MK2 Firewire....

Can you guys suggest something else that is of similar quality for me to compare it to? I am willing to spend in that price range.

Would the MOTU do the job or could something else do me better?

Any feedback here would be greatly appreciated.

If I would be on MAc, i would check Apogee Duet. not many Ins and Outs, but brilliant Apogee converters.

If you plan on gigging with it, go for the ultralite instead, its a lot smaller than the 828, and has pretty much the same ins/outs.
