I'm a big fan of Passion: the Last Temptation of Christ soundtrack that he did. I've always respected the guy and liked what I have heard from him. Good read there.
good article....thanks for sharing. I agree with a lot of what he's saying...although 60% of DL's for Radiohead's last joint is a bit concerning.
I'm just glad the focus will eventually shift away from the "band in a box" mentality that Big Labels have been force feeding on the public lately...
But at the same time...with aspiring producers jockeying for position in the indie markets and the world will be filled with a lot of garbage music. I mean....to me at least, it seems a lot harder to find good tracks this year....
