MMA fighter Evan Tanner found dead

Evan Tanner was found dead in the desert on an apparent "wilderness adventure" mishap. sounds like he got headstroke while alone and died. sad stuff.

Ironic surname. Bad joke...

Poor sod. RIP.

Too bad. He always seemed a little "earthy", especially in his last fight with that grizzly Adams beard. He was always respectful and humble, though. At least he died doing what he loved.

LOL, actually... whatever, got a chuckle out of me.

but yeah, it's a bummer. he recovered from several years or so of homeless alchoholism only to drop dead clean and sober in the desert. do wonder how much of his former glory he could have reclaimed had this not happened.

Not alot id imagine.

Wondered if it had anything to do with some of the serious beatings he took in his life?

The guy was in some brutal fights and was more prone to cuts than hatton
