[SIN 003] - Voidloss / Andariel / Casual Violence - Incubus/Succubus EP
For the 3rd Singularity release themed around the concept of the Demon Lover, we feature the talents of a new disovery, Andariel http://www.myspace.com/andarielpl It is rare to find women making this kind of music, and we have really enjoyed Andariels perspective on dark electronics. The 3 tracks she supplies for this EP all have an industrial feel, with chugging factory machine beats, yet each has a strange, mysterious haunting undercurrent providing a truly refreshing suite of music. Andariel - The Demon Maiden of Anguish, truly lives up to her name.
The 2 tracks supplied by Voidloss take a deep stride into cinematic soundscapes. Although totally workable on the dancefloor we have music pieces combining complex melodies and industrial beats that go further than just DJ fodder, taking 2 different journeys into a world of dark beauty that transcends the throw-away nature of a lot of Techno being released today.
We also have a super bonus track from Casual Violence, as due to a cock up by our distributer, Reaction Mechanism was only available at some Vendors (itunes and others) so it is included in this release as well. And it is a fantastic track from CV.
