MIDI Controller Issues

I use a Midiman oxygen 8 midi keyboard/ controller

think its pretty good most of the time.

BUT

some of the rotary knobs seem to be a bit sketchy eg:

erratic unsmooth control of parameters and in the worse cases they change parameters without me even touching them???? sometimes resulting in my synths etc getting messed up etc

has any1 else experienced this? is the thing fooct? or is there anything i could try with it?

maybe taking it apart and giving the pots a good clean possibly?

any ideas peoples?

I've seen this a few times on the Oxygen 8's, you can try contact cleaner but that's usually a temp fix from my experience. it usually acts up again in a few weeks/months. replacing the pots is a simple solder job though.
