Even forgetting that for a minute, there's documentation freely available on the net (go find it if you're that interested) that shows what percentage of season ticket holders for each club in the league are from within what postal area.
Manchester Utd have roughly double the season ticket holders from within the Manchester area (i.e. with Manchester postcodes) than Manchester City do.
The whole myth about everyone in Manchester being a City is basically a fallacy.

Ive heard that tickets are gonna be as low as 5 quid for an adult ticket for the next round. That should get some more through the gate.
