Database / Record Keeping Software

Slightly odd request for a music forum but hey ho :)


Can any of you guys point me in the direction of some free (or cheap) software that would be suitable for use in a garage?

Basically my mate needs a system where he can record each vehicle and then by searching the reg number, pull up all the work history for that car and then be able to print off autonumbered invoices etc....

Simplicity is the key here as well. In his words it has to be "idiot proof" :biggrin:
