CDJ1000 Mk3 Waveform display

Does anyone know why it takes so long for the waveform to appear when playing MP3 discs?

I recently sold mine, didnt use it that much tbh...im sure theres no waveform display when playing mp3 format.

There is, you just have to push the text-mode button.
