Bogey team I think for Spain.
Plus new coach and no Marcos Senna, who I think was the main reason for a solid midfield at the European Championships.
Also the USA are physically fit and a dangerous team.
One more factor is that the game was played at the end of a long season and in a hard tournament where it's hard to play 4 good matches in a row.
Good win for the USA I suspected they could do it.
Little chance against Brazil though, but I think that it won't be more then 1 goal difference.
i guess the US is better than it has been in the past few years, but we were soundly beaten by both italy and brazil in earlier rounds. that made me think: "yeah, we're okay, but not good enough to hang with the big boys." i was totally shocked by the spain victory, especially as spain were so dominant in euro2008. i figured even a coaching change and a couple roster changes wouldn't change that.

Plays for Spain but is from Brazil.
just one of them games for Spain where nothing seemed to go right.....
will be watching the final tonight and will be suprised to say the least if the US upset Brazil
It was a good match. Brazil showed they enjoy playing football. The USA showed that there are no "big boys" in football anymore, and that everyone plays football these days.
Tbh, the USA surprised me again. They could have stood more chance if their coach answered dunga's tactical options sooner, but still a great tournament for the US.
was pretty amazed to watch the US performance against brazil. was light years away from the 3-0 drubbing earlier in the tournament. gutted we lost though...i usually care a lot more about sweden than the US in football, but it's nice to see the US do well for a change.
yea i was rooting for the US.......just wish they hadnt have conceded so early in the 2nd half....
but yea a good tourney for the US......good tournament on the whole really, well worth watching
that goal was the death blow. i figured brazil would send it into overtime and then win, but they proved able to get it done in regulation time.
this article is pretty funny
