techno meets classical
opening track "the march" is a great piece, really tells a story, was a bit lost on the rst of the album tho
boring
I thought it was alright that. Interesting.
nothing wrong with some classical..I mean there isnt really much techno in it..nothing a drummer wouldnt do..
mills is a genius in such an instance however most expect 4 x 4 techno monsters from him..
if you dont appreciate classical you wont like this IMO
i plan on doing this in the future - orchestra(minus some instruments)+snyth+drum machine.
*someday*

What I really love is seeing accomplished classical musicians playing a repetitive techno loop. I am sure they are thrilled.
The Bells is classic techno tune, but trying to put it in a classical music context?
FAIL.
does anyone know how the bells which is a great was made?
any idears?
some synth arpeggio at the end and some clever use of some samples is all i can make out.
i think the collaboration was a good idea but did not really work.
what is pretentious about classical music?
anyway.. i liked it. it didnt work the way i wish it had, but it was interesting, it was a decent experience and it's something i wish more artists would do - THINK OUT OF THE BOX!!
