I was wondering what mp3 encoders people recommend. After speaking to a few friends I'm not sure if they all encode to the same quality or not - i.e. you could have 2 encoders both doing 128 bit, and one would have better quality - is this true?

a lot of people say LAME sounds the best but i just use itunes cuz its so easy..
Lame.. and latest versions of Lame is the best. {v3.90.3 is the latest}
LAME is the best :)
