Yeah the sound is gettin very 'familier', x-specialy with producers using the same kicks and bass lines in there productions tim eand time agani. i think the last 2 scot project tunes were totally originol-but ive hered/seen them get slatted in places 2.
IMO most of the quality hard trance is comin from a few select producers and labels-hence the records sounding simular, it's all sort of gone cuttin edge nukleuz style or just complete 'bang bang bang' harsdyle.?????????

I find myself looking to techno for tunes nowadays, as I can more or less predict what every Jay Walker, Pulsdriver, Kai Tracid, Beppe Barrelli tune is gonna sound like, not that I don't like them but they are getting repetitive.
