The third release in the diametric. tape series is from US based artist Submersion. The concept of "cyclonic" is based on recordings of various storms and rain, with recordings of Hurricane Sandy being a massive part of the source material.
Submersion is well know for his dub techno productions and "cyclonic" could easily be described as dub techno but the focus is much more on a very meditative and spiritual state of ambience, based around the swirling sounds of wind, rain and deep echoes and delays of organic synth stab sounds and chords.
The tracks should be seen as one floating interwoven piece of 60 minutes of pure dub ambient electronic music.
