Despite the fact that their original punishent was far too harsh, i reckon the FA will not want to seem soft, and probably won't reduce the ban...
Plus, if they do reduce the ban, then that would leave Rio free to play for England in the European Championships, FIFA will have somin to say about that no doubt...
I dont care, hes a tosser
fifa would like england out of the comp b4 it even starts so i see what your saying about letting him playQuote:

They were right to make an example of him, it will make other players sit up and take notice that they cant just take the piss and do what they want.
If it would of been me, id of given him the full possible ban, he wouldnt miss another test then :rambo:
Here Here......I laughed when we sold him to leeds for a crazy amount of mooney and then laughed even harder when united payed through the nose for him....over rated and now a junkie to boot.....QualityQuote:

lmao  he is talented, but not as talented as some think ;) I never used to think he was worth the money united payed for him, but after their recent games it shows he is one of their key players.
When Rio signed for Utd, i said to one of my friends, 'if we get the League back, then the money is worth every penny'...Quote:

looks like he's got to do the full 8 months.
Yeah man, it's dissapointing but not unexpected...
Did i hear that he's gonna try another appeal? If so, what for? They're hardly gonna change their minds now...
He got off lightly with 8 months.
If he wasnt a ****ing united player he'd of got longer than that :!:
I think it was a harsh sentence.....seeing as he wasn't proved to have done drugs....just didn't turn up for a test.....but rules is rules
even though when they did a blood urine and hair test it all came back negative
thats it japp stam and all that lot that got lesser bans took the drug test on time but rio didnt and if it was athletics he would have been banned for at least 2 years .
i did think they would give him a lesser ban tho but like you said rules is rules :eh:
LIVVVRPOLLD ARE SHIT LIKE
never even heard of that team     :lol:Quote:
