Im sure Mark wouldnt mind me takin time to quickly post to let everyone know that the long missed Country Clubs website is back up. Everyone that used to post on there can do so again! Lets let Clive and Meri know were still out there carrying the Country Club name so it never dies!

I've just seen a post on there from Clive saying that they're opening the Country Club up again (bigger and better) at a new venue, can hold 1000 people and is open all night!! Yes!!
Still early days yet, hopefully somthing comes up as we need a regular big underground club in this area. We will just have to wait & see
what's the venue? will it still have the pass out system? Will they be getting the same residents back in?
From what ive heard its at the discussion stage still, nothing definate. There is no point releasing the name of the venue until it is definate otherwise people might get there hopes up & it might not come off. Just keep an eye on www.dance-daddy.com or www.highfishrecordings.co.uk for more info.

no mate its actually quite a lush club, except for the clientele, although i imagine having a cc night there would sort that right the fudge out... its got a huge balcony all round the top with nice seating areas and stuff, the dj is up real high, which is a bit gay, but with the cc system in there things will be jumping and pumping all over the place. causing a disgrace. like a man with no face. in space.

I don't think it will sadly, same people, same sound, same set-up, more capacity, open until 6am, two rooms ( I think?)
but no car park rafter's or having to share a J with the bouncers :D
i think the 6am thing is really which is the problem, the local councils are being quite strict, and saying it needs to be a special event like a wedding or a bank holiday etc etc..... which in my mind is bollox's but could make the difference of a proper all night stomp or a 6 hour warm up sesion only to find you've got 4 hours until come down period and you need that after party...... dammmmmmnnn
