STEVE SHIELS & BRENDAN LONG
Carling Academy Liverpool
10pm - 4am £12adv 0870 771 2000
Andrew Weatherall is truly a living legend who has helped shape the
sound of today with his projects that have included Two Lone Swordsmen,
Sabres Of Paradise & Bocca Juniors. He has produced and remixed artists
as diverse as Primal Scream, Spiritualized', Electronic, Leftfield,
Saint Etienne, Paul Weller, Stereo MCs, Therapy?, One Dove, New Order,
Bjork, James, The Orb, The Chemical Brothers and the Happy Mondays!
Andrew Weatherall has been consistently one of our favourite ever DJs.
His rule breaking techno sets have consistently been magical moments in
time since his first appearance at Voodoo in 1994. Don't miss this
master at work!
Robert Hood needs little introduction. Founding member of the legendary
group Underground Resistance as a 'Minister Of Information' with ‘Mad’
Mike Banks & Jeff Mills, his seminal works on Jeff Mill's Axis and his
very own M-Plant imprint paved the way for a wave of stripped-down
dance floor minimalism that directed much of technos path throughout the late Nineties and into the ‘Noughties’.
Robert Hood [M-Plant] Aka Monobox, The Vision, Floorplan, Inner Sanctum, H&M (with Jeff Mills), UR & Mathematic Assassins - plays his first Voodoo show since 1995 – Utterly Unmissable!

awesome, truely awesome
best set i have heard in a long long time.
just had a well needed bath, change of clothes... and soo.....
what a night, truely superb.... Bren and Steve played again 2 cracking warm up sets and set the tone wonderfully, Weatherall was outstanding, very electro based set but it was a welcome change, especially with some fierce action soon to follow...
Hood was immense, absolutely superb... absolute classic display of minimilism and excuted near perfectly, totally destroyed the place
amazing....
roll on Slam !
quality night! The small room was rockin from start to finish, and tbh i was glad it was down there,
lookin forward to a 2 week break now, give my liver a chance to regenerate,
