Awesome tune. The kind that had parents all over the country worrying for their children's future.
 "Drugs, dirty dancing and pounding pounding techno music..."
Awesome tune, i have this myself, would LOVE the ignition technician one though, heard it on a couple of his mixes, infact he uses loads of oldskool techno samples in his tunes, there ACE and i want them all NOW haha!
yeah really cained the original but when ig gave me a cd with their bootleg on, it blew me away.
if anyone reads this and is interested, i found their 91 radio shows on the net.. just do a search ;)
oooh that would be aces! what was yoursearch criteria? 808 state Radio show 91?
Was browsing my emails today and noticed one from a record site saying Infamous 002 was now back in stock!! GET IN! Bought it today.
That record does NOT disappoint!

i can never remember
ner ner ner ni ner I think.
You're both girlymen, it's the one that goes ba ba ba ba ba. Also listen to the first post in this thread. DUH!!
F*ckin love it! Ignition technician is a legend and one of my alltime favorite producers.
He's one of mine too, i have so many of his tunes in my wants list on discogs :ohdear: love his style!
I watched him live @ locked in manc, 2006 and OMG :notworthy: i fckin loved every second of his set!! Loved the oldskool samples, didnt stop stomping!!
bigtime! I have loads of his stuff to, do you have that one that goes "Bring it back to the old school!!"? Cannot remember the name on it, but what a pounder!!!
I saw him twice here, the second time he had people jumping so much that the needle kept skipping of the decks. good times!!
Yeah i have that, its called 'The Droids Are Back In Town' its got 'work this motherfcker' on the bside, which is ace! Steve Poindexter sample there
Another one i love is the 'I feel Love' (donna summers ) one on his label DJ Special Needs , TOP TUNE imo! \o/

Classic...
Yep, Cubik - what a classic!!
I have a copy now, thanks though and as danny said, great work!! I am after a copy of champions of techno the one with the prodigy sample in it though? (Dont get anything if you dont ask!) Love all the oldskool sampled ones!
haha, ace! Proper random, was laughing to it again yesterday.
I'll have a look see if I've got a spare. If I have, you can have it.
Unfortunately, John Warwick's disappeared with a couple hundred copies of it.
If you like hard Techno interspersed with oldskool shit, check this out. one of my sets from earlier this year:-

techno artists sampling other techno artists
how sad
like hes retarded enough to be unable to play 4 tones on a synth
Theres nowt wrong with sampling. I love sampling.
No mate, you just made a genuinely 'twatty' comment.
Ever heard of remixes/bootlegs?
The fact is, Cubik was a big, big tune back in the day and i can fully appreciate sampling the main riff and dropping it into a techno set, if only for the buzz and excitement it would solicit on the dancefloor amongst the punters old enough to remember it the first time round.
But hey, if you dont get it...:)
I doubt it. all the con artists I know rarely frequent internet forums, they are generally too busy putting their latest scams into practice.
the point I was trying to make is that you're just a spastic who should shut up because you're opinions are infantile, uneducated and misinformed.
pretty self explanatory from my original post really.
well thats one way to look at it
the other is that ure wrong
i prefer the second one and so does god
using material from other genres and quotes from movies - yeah that can be pretty punk
using material from the same genre as ur own - thats just sad
Ding ding....round 4
manner.
even though its written on the label that its a rework, he still has his name behind the track title (which differs from "cubik")
bootlegging techno into techno is lame, remixing is great as long as u say its a remix and not ur own song or a, lol, rework
