2RuleFilter
http://www.grupvega.net/tugrul/plugins/2RuleFilter.bmp
“2RuleFilter” is a self-resonant moog type filter that allows the filter cut-off frequency to be controlled manually, or by LFO, or by an envelope follower. It has a interresting feature called “scrambler” that plays filtered signal randomly depending on the selected beat. The “mix” knob mixies wet and dry signals, The “volume” knob is for setting the output volume level. The”Bit crusher” produces hard sound. Using its scramble feature you can maintain the rhythmic, choppy, buffered and tempo sync output.
Feature:
* High Pass, Low Pass, Band Pass filter
* Modulation of filter cut-off frequency by LFO (tempo-sync), manuallly or envelope follower(reversable)
* Bit crusher (16bit to 1 bit)
* Scrambler that devide one measure to different time intervall and plays beats randomly.
* Mix ballance in between dry(input signal) and wet(filtered and bit crushed).
* Sensitivity that allows the filter cut-off frequency be changed from roughly to smoothly. This effect is the same of parameter smoothing.
Control:
Frequency - Cut-off depending on filter type. This envelop can be used also with any type of modulation and creates relatif cutoff frequency.
Q - Resonance
F Type - Fiter type Low Pass(LP), Band Pass (BP) and High Pass (HP).
Sens - Sensitivity : Parameter smoothing for Freq parameter.
Bit Crusher - Decimator from 1 bit to 16b bit (Distortion).
Modulation - It defines the type of Freq(Cutoff) modulation : Manual, LFO , Envelope filter (Auto Wah)
Env Eff - The amount of envelope modulation(Auto Wah)
Reverse - It takes the inverse of envelope modulation.
LFO Eff - The amount of LFO modulation.
LFO Rate - LFO Rate
LFO Rate Mult - It multiplies the current LFO rate by 1 or 10 or 100.
Sync - It sync LFO rate with the current song tempo.
BEAT - It defines the fragment duration with will played randomly (Scrambler : 1/1 to 1/64)
SCRAMBLER - Can be set for wet(filtered) and dry (input) signal.
MIX - It defines the balance in between wet and dry signal.
VOLUME -Volume

Welcome to the KVR Developer Challenge 2007, the second free-for-all audio plug-in / audio application design event! Building on the success of last years event, KVRDC07 is bigger and better!
The final date for submissions has passed and download day is upon us! All entries can be downloaded below, NOW! Voting will commence from 17th September so you've got at least a week to play with the new toys to see which ones you love the most.
There are 41 entries. We had a strong Windows turnout again (40) but, sadly, a very low number for Mac (3) and Linux (1)... 37 of them are in the ubiquitous VST format, 2 Audio Units made it through and there are 5 stand-alone applications too.

good tip, bmovie. That one caught my attention. I have only tried 'shakermaker' so far. Which is rather cool. As said before - i love this competition. This time it's a helluva lot of stuff to try, almost to much..
This plugin is superb for creating/enhancing REAL punch from/in samples. Best transient enhancer i know.
"Okay I've redone my old Transient Shaper plug-in. Facts:
Controls:
Attack: -200% to 200%
Sustain: -200% to 200%
Smoothness: 0% to 100%
Out Volume: -20dB to 0dB
It works by the same principle as the SPL transient shaper (note it is NOT modeled after it nor otherwise related).
No GUI, VST 2.3, C++
Any comments, feedback, suggestions, reports, whatsoever welcome."

This is awesome:
http://www.delamancha.co.uk/images/plugins/manic.gif
manic is an 8 slot random sample player where you decide the samples, but manic decides when to play them. Samples are triggered according to their probability, on a tempo sync pattern. Also allows for randomising of volume, pitch, pan, delay, reverse and swing. You decide how much, but not when. You can loop the sequence, change sequence seed with midi keys and quantise the pitch randomising for a more melodic sequence. Works well for random glitchy percussion, instant melodic sequences of multisamples or total chaos
- 8 sample slots, supports 16 & 24 bit mono & stereo wavs
- each sample played randomly according to it's probability
- tempo sync hit rate (hits/beat)
- seeded randomising for repeatable sequences
- midi playable seeding, change sequence with a midi key press
- random sequences can be looped for repeatability
- randomised swing
- per sample volume, pan & pitch
- per sample randomising of volume, pan, pitch and reverse
- per sample pitch quantising to semitone/cent
- per sample routing to randomised delay
- play / stop / resync controls
- midi CC and midi learn
- 246 samples and 25 presets covering acoustic & electronic drums, glitch and 8 bit noises, synth bass and keys

X-ISM is a state of the art VST/AU plug-in which can interpret inter-sample peaks, allowing engineers to make informed judgements about the resultant sound quality of the mix.
There is currently a trend in the in the audio industry known euphemistically as ‘The loudness war’ in which the engineering process is driven to produce a product which is as loud as is technically possible within the constraints of the medium. Debate rages as to whether this produces problems that degrade and distort the audio. One reason for this distortion is often blamed on the presence of ‘inter-sample peaks’, where signals that are usually missed by the Fs sampling of DAW meters, may actually exceed 0dBfs in reconstruction from digital to analogue domain in some Digital to Analogue Converters (DACs).

The LSS DJeq is an equalizer plugin designed specifically to emulate the controls found
on the best DJ mixers.
It features three rotary controls for Low, Mid and High frequencies and dedicated Kill
switches. The interface is optimized for live performance, with large buttons and knobs
easy to read and grab even with a laptop track-pad.
The EQ range has been specifically designed to allow for traditional DJ use, with a range
that goes from complete cut to + 6dB.
While the plugin might work in other VST-compatible hosts, the LSS DJeq is the result of
user feedback from the Ableton Live courses at the London School of Sound, and as
such it was meant only as a plugin for Ableton Live.
Requires Pluggo's runtime library 3.6.1 or higher (free download).

UpStereo
A FREE stereo enhancer.
* Loudness control enables a complex saturator to boost your
mixes.
* Stereo width slider going from mono to wide, bringing the
stereo image out and towards the listener.
* Subtle Air & Bass boosters to lift and help the audio
'breath'.
* Very low CPU usage.
* FREE!
What is it?
UpStereo is a simple, useful tool - it makes your mixes bigger, in stereo width and loudness.
Using three basic basic systems:
1. A fixed frequency EQ designed to lift the highest audio frequencies, and boost the bass.
2. A stereo width unit, for expanding stereo sounds so they appear wider and fatter. At extreme levels other characteristics are also brought out of the sound, so this can also be used as a tonal control for individual instruments. This also has a mono setting, useful for squashing up those aggressive samples that take over the mix.
3. A loudness button that raises the waveform to the limits in a smooth curve. This saturation gives the mix a more perceived loudness, without clipping.
These stages create an overall loudness effect on the final output, so a gain control is included to keep the limits in check.
The main 'bubble' display on the plug-in is really a basic meter, when one of the stereo halves flash white, then the output is in danger of being clipped. Try and keep the levels so the white flashes only occasionally, this enables the loudness saturator to work at it's best.

Elevayta Wide Boy
Wide Boy is a stereo enhancer insert and mastering effect. Unlike most other stereo enhancers, Wide Boy uses the fact that low frequencies are less directional than higher frequencies. By separating out the two frequency bands, and selectively applying different processing to Bass and Treble, Wide Boy realizes a wider stereo sound without losing the punch of the bass. The parameter range and flexibility also provides the possibility to generate a number of interesting additional effects.
Features
System Requirements
- 'Spatial Delay' up to 66 m (now expressed in metres).
- Selective widening of two spectral partitions.
- User control over spectral partitioning via 'Spectral Pivot'.
- In V1.15 I have made further improvements and optimizations in the algorithm.
- Independent control of Bass spatial position and gain.
- 5 Presets.
Important: This plug-in is NOT compatible with Elevayta VST Rak.
- Windows 98 or any later Windows OS.
- About 1 MB of harddisk space.
- 1+ GHz processor.
- Audio application supporting VST plug-ins.

The Fish Fillets:
http://www.digitalfishphones.com/mai...em=2&subItem=5 (the "Blockfish" compressor is particular)
Mac only:
http://www.muxer.nl/instant-sampler/...screenshot.jpg
The plugin could be named "audio copy-paster" or "snippet looper", but I choose to call it InstantSampler because it does what a simple 'normal' sampler does (playing audio fragments by MIDI notes), but it takes its samples (instantly) from the audio input whenever you hit a specific MIDI note for the first time. Every consecutive time you hit the same MIDI-note, it plays back the recorded fragment (or shorter, depending on the note's length).
So, is this plugin an instrument (as the name 'sampler' might suggest), or an effect? Technically, it is an effect, but one that is controlled using MIDI. But, in Logic for instance, it can be considered to be an instrument, played with MIDI, and having an audio side-chain input. The bottomline is, that it needs both audio - and MIDI input!
When you play the sampled fragments, you have the possibility to vary the following:
velocity - Playback volume.
attack and release - Both attack & release times are configurable.
floor - The level of the input audio which is passed along unaffected when no samples are played.
playback speed - Speed up or - down the sample playback using the pitchbend control with a configurable range.
reverse playback - Playback in reverse ... this might sound a bit tricky at first, so look at the figure first (you might get it right away).
http://www.muxer.nl/instant-sampler/...erse-range.jpg
You can specify the 'reverse (velocity) range' (let's call it R), which splits the velocity scale into two parts: 0 ... R, and R+1 ... 127. If a note is played with a velocity in the lower range, then the note is played in reverse, but with the applied velocity that goes from 0 to 127 with R mapped to 127. If the velocity is in the higher range, it is played in normal order, also with a range from 0 to 127, but with R+1 mapped to 0.
clear memory - Assign a MIDI note that (when played) just clears all samples recorded so far. This is useful if you have a 'copy-paste phrase' programmed in a MIDI region, and want to reuse it at more than 1 place in your music. Just start or end your phrase with the 'clear memory note', and the second time the phrase is playing, it will record the input audio again.
This is also handy when using the InstantSampler plugin in a live setting, in case you want to clear the samples you took so far (assign it to the lowest key on your keyboard, for example).

Internal 2OSC synth can be used for carrier.
upto 4 .wav files or an another audio track signal can be used for modulator by VOCOVCapture.dll ( used as a VST Effect) . VOCOV2 will automatically connect to VOCOVCapture.
***** SSE CPU needed *****
How to Use 1. Simple usage (if modulator source is not so long wav file)
Load "VOCOV2.dll" to your host app as a VSTi.
Load .wav file to VOCOV2 VSTi and select.
(wav file should be a LPCM/ 8 or 16 bits format)
You can control VOCOV2 as a synth via MIDI track.
2. Advanced usage (you can use a audio track as a modulator source)
Prepare audio track for modulator & midi track for carrier control.
Load "VOCOV2.dll" to your host app as a VSTi controlled by MIDI track.
Insert "VOCOVCapture.dll" to audio track.
Select VSTi's modulator source to "from VOCOV Capture".
VOCOVCapture.dll can be load upto 4 instance. you should select diffent channel
for each VOCOVCapture, and you can select which modulator use by select a CH on VOCOV.dll
3. More complicated usage (carrier from another VSTi)
You should prepare carrier VSTi and MIDI track.
Insert VOCOVCapture to the effect slot of the carrier VSTi
and select "Carrier from capture" on VOCOV2.
you can also select modulator signal from VOCOVCapture using another CH.
in this case, the MIDI track for VOCOV2 is functional only for Buffer freeze control.

Clip-R
http://www.atomsplitteraudio.com/upl...ip-R_V1.01.jpg
Clip-R is a stereo effect which allows you to trim/clip the ceiling (top) and floor (bottom) of any audio you put through it, it also features a boost control which happens before the clipping and can be used to distort the signal in combination with clipping. The left channel is shown in green and the right in red, the clipping level is show in black and this lets you see exactly what is happening to the signal. The effect works well on basses and basic waveforms like a saw etc and can change the shape.

Ultra trigger FX Free
UTFX is a vst audio plugin for windows vst hosts. This effect is particularly designed for real time or live audio
work. The main idea behind this effect is 'triggering' : fx selection , fx 'synced parameter' and signal mixing can
be performed directly from two benchs of buttons or more simply from midi CC or midi notes.
Modules :
1 fx selector "button bench"
1 synced value "button bench"
1 synced delay with feedback, high and low damping
1 glifter (glide/drift) to produce some scratch/tape stop-like /granular fx
1 flanger with feedback damping
1 six stages standard phaser
1 decimator unit with sampling rate reduction , bit depth reduction and a saturation
1 realtime slicer with looping speed control ,random reverse and a quantized variator
1 "ring accumulator" with feedback and low damping
1 tri combs with a chord selector, feedback and root note selector.
1 shared lfo with 6 shapes (sin, tri, square, saw up,saw down and sample & hold)
Technical specifications :
Full stereo processing
Support sampling rate up to 192khz
Two phases Low frequency oscillator with sync offset
Dry/wet signal smoother
Maximum mix level defined for each fx
Alternative smaller view , user defined master color

Pluggotic Shattersync
"Shattersync is a modified version of DarkWare's Shattershot Lite VST.
It's a stuttering/repeating FX based on modulated delays triggered by a step-sequencer.
Repeats of all sorts, glitches and noises, random events and singular/casual phrases re-arrangements can be achieved quickly, on both melodic and rhythmic material."

machin is a random, probability-based, step-sequenced multi-fx device created in partnership with sink
- the step sequencer defines the probability that any single random effect will be triggered on that step
- the weighting defines the probability for each effect that it will be the one that is triggered
features
- 6 effects (gate, crusher, filter, flanger, delay, reverb)
- 2-32 step probability sequencer over a cycle of 2-32 beats
- seeded randomisation with loop repeat over cycle of 2-100 beats
- swing control for step sequencer
- any effects can be turned off to save CPU
- each effect has an attack/decay on triggering and pulse length to determine duration effect is on
- master wet/dry mix control
- all controls have MIDI learn

This is an AMAZING loop sequencer VSTi from Steve Duda (used to be in "Devine Machine"), it's great for live looping, beatslicing, creating polyrhythmic rhythms etc. You DON'T need Monome in order to enjoy it, althouth i believe it's more fun with it :)
http://docs.monome.org/lib/exe/fetch...olar_sshot.jpg
Molar is an extended version of the MonoChrome plugin. Both plugins allow you to sync to host tempo and generate MIDI sequences of notes, or use your Monome like a MIDI keyboard.
However Molar also allows you to load AudioFiles as loops or one-shot, and/or capture/manipulate a live Audio Input signal.

This stuff is just great:
http://www.kammerl.de/audio/logo.gif
The Kammerl-Kaske-VSTs are a comprehensive set of five soundmanipulating VST audio plug-ins, ready to be used with your favourite music production software like Steinberg's Cubase or Ableton's Live. Kammerl-Kaske-VSTs is a cooperation between Julius Kammerl (audio programming) and Klaus Kaske (artwork) and contains following plug-ins:
The Slicer:
The Slicer-Plug-in cuts all incoming audio signals into slices and then re-arrange them in a very musical way. Plenty of different rearrangement sequences can be selected to generate beat patterns and breaks just on the fly.
The Sratcher:
The Scratcher-Plug-in enables you to do digitally scratching even cooler than hand-made scratching with vinyl: you are always in sync and the speed and type of your virtual scratch movements are freely adjustable and easy reproducable.
The Pitcher:
By cutting-up and changing the pitches of all incoming audio signals you can create surprising effects, sounding like switched-off turntables, broken tape machines or shuffled grooves.
The Looper:
The Looper records incoming audio material and instantly makes a loop out of it according to the timing information given by your sequencer. By changing the start- and endpositions, the duration of your loop or even by modulating the loop size you can create amazing new rhythms and 'bouncing-ball-breaks' as easy as 1-2-3.
The Warm Distortion: Like the name says: this plug-in makes warm distortion, comparable to the distortion effect of analogue tube amplifiers.
