its true that there is alot of division in the scene, but as Dirty Bass said there is new brotherhood emerging, i personally find that there is alot of respect and friendships being formed at the moment with (mainly) up n coming artists who all have a real passion for what they are doing, no matter which level they are at! This is brilliant IMO and im lookin forward to the next year or so and seeing what else is developing
im sure others know what im talking about, especially some of the people off this board who are producing and linking up with one another, helping each other out.... thats what its all about
;)

i agree totally there's nothing wrong with not liking what someone does the problem with a lot of people is that they think what they like is superior to some-one elses taste. The problem with this is shortsitedness cause like it or not you need variety if only from a commercial point of view the underground also needs to be pressed on vinyl and without the more commercial stuff being made pressing costs would run through the roof. so if you don't like the music don't listen to it simple but respect other peoples taste none the less
i wasn't trying to go OT. it was my leading statement into the rest of my spiel.. whatever.Quote:

i love techno more than I could love any music before. I see that the problem on the scene is, that priority became minority. I mean sharing knowledges and also aiming on the progress of all techno scene, not just of own tracks.this community is something what can help strenghten the scene, big up for Mark.thanks for letting me join the club...
rave, rave!
techno, techno!
so there. ;)
i love techno more than my own mother....
now thats love
gotta say that techno needs to re-invent itself a little and get back to what its about....
espesh - fuk all the commercialism shit going on....fukin djs etc charging silly amounts of dosh and not even comin correct........big name shmame.
yeh we gotta stand together too as mark said......and i say boycott these guests that are doing nuthin but rapin everyones pockets....all go to the underground partys that folk play for the LOVE...stand together on one of the fundamental things about techno...free techno
we gotta start sharing our music more via the net....not alot of sites will offer music for dl......most wanna make £££££. that way more will spread throughout more ears.
Bandwidth costs an awful lot of money - there is no such thing as free - someone always pays.Quote:

as the old saying goes, united we stand, devided we fall,
a saying from people quite relevant to all this I think....the legends that are Technotronic!
I'm feeling this as well...Quote:
