i may suggest taking a turn off at morley this weekend on the way to the darkside and pop in for a bit of bruschetta and pasta.

id be well explorin if i went back there now. :cool:

nah....the afterdark cuisine sounds far nicer.
cant wait to have a good nosey round the place again....may even have a bit of a dance while im there. :love:

Went down on friday before darkside, can't beleive what has happened to the orbit. It is exactly the same layout but everything is decorated nicley and there is carpet everywhere! The DJ booth and dancfloor are still there but covered in chrome and mirrors. Got a horrible feeling that there was never going to be any techno played there again :cry:

as said above.....it was really sad to see that place gone to the dogs. 1st of all we couldnt get a table cos they were booked out....so instead we went for a drink downstairs. after that curiosity got the better of us so went for a bit of a nosey upstairs...oh my god. the orbit is now a lovely PEACH colour. :lol: peach carpets,peach wallwaper.....peach everything.
the dj box had a caberet singer jerry st clair style doing renditions of shania twain and robbie williams. absolute amazing....the mid 50's crowd lapped it up on the dancefloor.

one lad who we were with said it was the 1st time in his 10 years of goin the orbit he'd walked across the club and never got chewing club on his shoes....he was distraught. :lol:

we definetly need to break in there 1 night and have a huge rave. :cool: :lol:

Nah. Darkside and Fusion is where it's at . Superconductor was mind numbingly dull and a bit pretentious when I went.
