Doe,s look pritty good i,ve got 2 pioneer cdj 800,s & their great but can this mixer stand up too the mighty xone 62 or the 464 i recently bought the 62 & its just mega simple layout easy to use and seems to be getting like the technics mk2 as an industry standard totally awsome don,t think it will beat the allen & heath but when it comes to cd,s they have got it licked
apart from all the extra digital shit thats in there they have priced it high enough so that it doesn't bring down the price of the 500 and the 600   bastards!!! i am waiting for the price to drop for ages, cheepest 600 is around 600 quid, and its been out for a a few as well.if i was gonna pay that sort of cash for a mixer(2000) i would av a a+h xone 92 ;) feck all this digi shite :dontevengothere: ;)
Yeah regardless of the fact that I don't like many things about this mixer.. one of the biggest turnoffs is the digital pathway.... :/
I wonder what the curves on the eq's and the input gains are like on this mixer......never owned a Pioneer but any time I have played on one I find the curves odd to say the least especially on the input gain....the knob goes from 9 oclock round to 3 oclock and the only range that isn't silent or overloaded is between 12.00 and 12.10. Well ya know what i mean.
i do indeed nasty..
same with the 300 round the gaff..
True, but this expensive "piece of shit" only has High and Low-end EQ, it'll help, but still... could have just aswell done it all the way.Quote:

Maybe they finally did something about the soundquality... ;)Quote:

it looks like the tasscam x9 a bit same sorta look. i would be interested to hear this on a rig to listen to the eq..hate eq on the 600 due to the fact they are all filtered. the sound coming off a 500 is fine.so will be intersting to hear the sound quality on this. :study:
hope they've improved the buid quality and the pre amp
cos the old 600's fell apart and they sound shit through a rig!
damn i love my studio style faders on my made2fade.10yrs old and still my fav mixer.
good mixer if you want to look cool while you dj.
all i need is a x-fader.
i hope they've improved the sound of the eq's, the ones on the 600 are probably the worst i've heard,
to me atleast they sound awfull.
