Never been there myself, but I did see the DVD from the other year that had a few good parts.
What's up with Sven Vath running around and "hi - fiving" people while he was playing LFO "Freak"?
Hahaha. My roommate isn't into techno and watched a copy of the DVD I had. I came home and he told me he watched it. He was talking about some crazy guy jumping around "being a fairy, but the song was kinda cool."
I actually never watched the DVD prior to that so I popped it in and sure enough, it was Sven Vath at the moment you just described.
I don't know if I could handle being in a hot, sweaty crowd as big as the ones at ILT, but I think it's ****in sweet that Tony is onboard this year. His productions are getting really good.
Hum, hum...
Hate to dampen anybody's spirits but hey, here we go :rambo:
There is a big point for not going to I Love Techno and it's the fact that it's prganised by Clearchannel, big american multinational
Article here for people who understand french

basically, big money making machine with link to the bush administration... :nono:
and they manage "Star academy", the equivalent of that BBC program (can't remember what it's called)
That must be they're worst offence!!!

anyone know where is best to fly to and stuff? looks like i'm going but no idea how yet
Its not organized by clear channel, clear channel sponsor it. As do coca cola, etc. Hence why the place is full of advertising everywhere inside. Never the less im glad someone else spotted thatQuote:

However I wouldn't recommend it. Been about 3-4 times and it deteriorated each time. Last year was a shambles. Spent ages waiting to get into arenas and some the sound systems in some of the better rooms sucked. That combined with the lack of space to dance, in fact not even stand for 10 seconds without been pushed aside by people who have no other option but to push through people (its that bad). I couldn't really get into it last year simply because ever time i got chance to start moving some punk need to get by push past me even at the back of the arean's. Oh yea and there was a massive crush and prodigy didnt play for the 1st 20 mins whilst the bouncers tried to stop 100's of people trying to push themselves past a barrier and into an already packed arena
So in a nutshell, if you live in that area, go for it. If you in England and your travelling go to something else. Honestly
Fly to amsterdam, get smoked, maybe laid by some hoe and then get a train down. Public transport rules over there! Well when I wentQuote:

Clear Channel own a lot of inner city advertising billboards in the UK. They also have stakes in meanfiddler, some of the Leeds festivals, Glastonbury, V and loads of venues in London. All of which are doing pretty successful. I still think its a little wrong tho, seems like its more of commercial event organizer. Guess thats why the line up isn't as good as it used to be. Just going for the big risk free namesQuote:
