I prefer the Scot Project mix too :D
Its a tune, if it never had scot project labelled on it.... everyone would be raving about it. It builds and builds imo. A good track... altough Digital pressure - Event Horizon matches it step by step. lol
Wat a month for hard trance is it not.
Your right Paul... this month there has been so many "good" releases... it's scary.
I really don't like it personally. The awkward way the bassline kicks in after the break makes me wonder how anyone can say this is good production. The riff is Rank 1 - The Awakening altered slightly and the vocal sounds a bit close to Thunder in Paradise for me.
I THINK THIS IS A QUALITY TUNE-FIRST RECORD I'VE BOUGHT ON OVERDOSE FOR A WHILE-HARD AND UPLIFTING,TOP STUFF BY AROME.
totally... i was poundin this is out today, its so well made. it cant be ignored, it kicks in so ****in tough. BOOM BOOM BOOM.
i'm with corbz, pretty poor imo, with scot project the production is always there but it takes more than that to make a tune...and the 'riff' if you could call it that leaves a lot to be desired...but then what do i know!
FACT: Scot Project broke boundaries within hard trance.
FACT: He's struck to the same formula
I'll agree that trance is formulated alot of the time but all he seems to do is change the riffs and the way he puts the notes in. The structure is so formulated i feel like i can't hear his music anymore.
Mind you this track is without doubt putting Scot Project back on track.
I think he needs to stop DJing and raking in the cash and concentrate on breaking boundaries again.
If he did that now, I think he could take our music forward like no-one else.
Don't you just feel that this is a common problem with hard trance producers?
Problem is, he's smelled sucess and forgotten about learning his studio.
That's what I reckon anyway.
God knows man, i had heard also that overdose were watering down his tracks before release?
I thought imo visions of paradise gave us a glimps of wat he is capable of, he had taken a few steps forward.... but i thought maybe a couple of steps more would ave been bk too what we expect.
I think he is super... city 2 city and r - s were god damn awful, but a positive tune after they releases.
Think maybe he will ave too get bk in the studio more hardcore, as i see his oppertunities of playin in big clubs falling... if they havent already.
On the hard trance note... imo shokk have fallen into the same boat... cant remember the last good shokk tune i had.

mate, geilomatics has been like the only release of the year from shokk, there latest solo 'what i must do...' was i admit pretty gash, but you know that theyve been hard at work and are gonna release some ****ing corkers before the year is out...
i hope ur rite mate, there solo single was awful man, geilomatics was a carry on of the sound they have released so many time imo. Stale is the word i would choose, all there remixes sounded very similer. But like u said they will be back and better no doubt, still play back 2 earth, hope and wait and altitude, and ignition... lol. List goes on.Quote:

i fukking love the vocal in amnesia.... personally i dont think it would be as good without it. its one of my favourite trance vocals infact. so there.
yeah agreed log mate, it just wouldnt be the same, awesome track.. :)
Took the words right outta my mouth. The vocals make that tune what it is. :DQuote:
