Not a chance. 99% of the acid techno I have, for the most part, uses a fairly clean 909. Acidcore doesn't tend to do that. It distorts the **** out of it. Sometimes it's not even faster than acid techno. I had an "Acidcore" track come out on a speedcore slab of vinyl that was 130bpm as "Dead Sector."
acid techno is more monotonous and basic in it's production, some of the tracks by zekt are amazing and still sound fresh 10 years later
