now you know how santa feels. :ruparanoid:
I'm really liking the new album so far.
Loving this album, anybody reckon a rave revival is happening ? not that it ever really went away anyway.
Only downside i have is it sounds a little too over compressed, or is it my ears ?
I didn't like it so much. I mean, I wasn't disgusted. it just didn't touch my special place.
i think its awesome got it yesterday . loving track 3 - thunder .
It doesn't sound as tho they mean it anymore..
IMO
Yeah. All the elements are there, but I'm just not getting... it.
Maybe thats the problem, might just be me. I hope it does well for them though!
I'm enjoying it. It's not a complete return to their glory days, but that would be impossible. For a trio of 40-year-old raver burnouts who basically had the entire scene they helped create turn on them with a level of hatred usually reserved for traitors of Judas' ilk, it's not bad.
That lead on Omen is straight out of Experience.
I've really enjoyed this one a lot too. I really like the last track "Stand Up" a lot. And "Take me to the Hospital" defeinitely has an Experience flavor/influence to it. I think it's a pretty solid album. Should go over pretty well for anyone that likes the Pendulum breaky stuff. Only thing I don't like about it are some of the fairly simple lyrics that get repeated over and over and over. But, that's really it and they don't take away from the whole on all the tracks. They just don't always add anything to it.
nothing special...
i think it rocks..to produce 5 albums of electronic music - each slightly different is pretty impressive..
..this one has elements of all the other 4, from the oldskool to the bigbeats to the guitars..a welcome return to form and apart from anything else as someone who has to spend a lot of time in an office listening to commercial radio how refreshing it is to hear a kickass track like Omen come on and blow away all the warbling from Coldplay etc ;-)
I promised myself I wouldn't go near them after the last album. Whats with completely ****ing up the sound to the point of making it un-listenable?
