So whos mix is best? Pac's mix is more my style.
Just listened to Pacou's .... the tunes are good, there is a good flow to the mix and enough variety in the tunes but the mixing isn't good at all. This guy was a resident at TRESOR for fuk sake and he dj's around the world, IMO he should be better than that.
i havent listened to Frankie's yet.
I just listened to Frankie's there. His tunes wouldnt be my style but his mixing is very very good and is that of a pro. I think pacou lost this battle big time.
Its not just the tunes that count, Frankies arent bad there are some good tunes and that is his style but his mixing is top. Pacou's tunes are better in places but he's way too sloppy and not as good.
FRankie Bones Wins.IMO
listened to frankies mix...
weak mixing.....most of it is clean but for he aint pushing no boundarys.
for someone claiming the shit he is "25yrs mixin " etc it is poor...not worth a battle anyway...
Didn't seem to be a clear-cut winner to me... Frankie's set was better mixed, but Pacou played about 10 more tracks in less time and had—in my opinion —better tunes.
Despite all the posturing, neither mix blew me away. This battle ended up as a lot of talk and not much rock.
This is a load of bollox. The story of el hair do gettin his arse kicked sounds much more interesting. Get tellin someone...
good assessment...better tunes versus better skills...
