and
yo mama's mama's mama's mama's mama
seriously...
who **** knows? many of my favorite records were made by people who's total output = that record or that record plus 2 or 3 other ones
cari lekebusch has done a lot of great stuff, but has put out some serious crap too. derrick may was great up until 1991 or whenever he stopped producing. so i don't know.
but teste "the wipe" is the greatest techno record of all time :)
Invexis rocks big time on some releases, the Flux double pack was just stunning in places, but last few bits i heard were going down the very substandard schranz route, not nice at all when he (or they?) have some incredible records, and im sure will again at some point
yep mate agreed, i remember being really surprised and disapointed at those releases as they were so far short of their usual top standard it was just strange.
but agree i always check for the new stuff, Invexis doth rock

Surgeon - For getting me into Techno with Communications.
Speedy J - For everything from his ambient stuff to the evil pneumatic drill to the face stuff.
Tim Wright - For introducing me to bass heavy complex Techno with Fold, and everything since.
Technasia - For varied and excellent productions, and for Charles Siegling making singing in a dodgy french accent work, when it really shouldn't.
Boris S - For re-establishing my faith that Techno can be super hard and interesting.

yeah had the vinyl edition of that, some top class tracks on it
brilliant track by a guy called Laurent Ho, never seen anything else of his, mind you, i cant say ive looked much, but this track in particular was damaging
Nah mate... have to correct you there as Frankie, un-beknownst to many, had a ghost producer, quite literally... His name was Harold Flange-ling, who's artist moniker was 'Grape Digger' and he copped it trying to hook his rig up to a dodgy 3-phase power link for a Cristingle Party in Stoke Newington couple o year back.... oh aye :coffee:
In terms of people who've made a real 'dent' in the techno sound at some point or other. Imo.
